Now, WE LOVE RWANDA.
King's Cross Church has partnered with Do Good Health to fully fund a Maternity, Pediatric, and Mental Health Wing at the flagship medical center in remote Rwanda.
Do Good Health did a survey where they asked the coffee farmers what their greatest need at this point was and their answer was clear – ACCESS to HEALTHCARE.
Do Good Health was created to increase healthcare access for the Land of a Thousand Hills farmers and the communities surrounding them. Do Good Health is constructing and supporting medical facilities in areas where presently there are none. The first Medical Center will be built at the Kivu Lake Coffee Washing Station. The people in this community currently will walk up to will walk up to 20 hours to get to a hospital. The distance often makes them not go at all. Implementing a Medical Center in the heart of this village is an opportunity to directly affect the lives of those who live and work in this area. The first clinic will have a grand opening around the New Year!
In order to complete this life-giving mission, we need to raise $15,000, and we are so excited to partner with our local Land of a Thousand Hills Cypress in order to make this happen! 100% of the money raised will go directly towards construction.
